About the Trinity

We have one God. At first, this may sound simple, but we have heard the Christian teaching of the Trinity, that God is Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. That is, we have one God, and this one God is three divine persons.

1 John 5:7.
“For there are three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one.”

How can three be one?

Is it possible?

Let's see an example.

A triangle has three angles, but it is one triangle. It is not only three separate angles, but it is one triangle. It also has three sides. In fact, because the three sides join the three angles in the proper way, that makes it one triangle.

God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: three and one at the same time.

Why is it so? Why is God not like a circle with one side and that’s it? Why is He three in one and not one in one? I don’t know. But we can be in a great relationship with Him, and that's the point.
